Indulge yourself and try something a little different to mark National Vegetarian Week with a taste of two restaurants.

This week, Newcastle city centre’s only two solely vegetarian and vegan restaurants, Super Natural and Painted Elephant, are opening their doors to everyone to sample the delights of vegetarian and vegan food. Both restaurants are offering specially prepared menus for customers to sample.

Whether it’s from a relaxed coffee in great surrounds or vegetarian fish and chips, there’s something for everyone and children and families are especially welcome.

Situated in the veggie village, just off Northumberland Street, in Upper Princes Square (behind the city library), the location offers peace and tranquillity in the heart of the city and also boasts a great outdoor seating area in which to relax.
